OpenCode reads AGENTS.md by convention, which makes Boost OS a drop-in: the kernel lands in the file OpenCode already consults, and 20 slash commands become available the moment the install finishes.
For terminal-first builders, the check commands matter most: /audit finds the dead code that accumulates across sessions, /sync stops the agent writing against library versions you don't have, and /security sweeps before every deploy. OpenCode doesn't expose a hook system the installer supports, so guards stay dormant. Commands and memory work in full.
